If you read my Herbal Face Food Serum review then you probably already know a little bit about Herbal Face Food and their amazing serums. You also know what they can do for your skin.
In addition I shared my review on another amazing Herbal Face Food product The Cure X Soap.
Today I am sharing my review of their newest product The Cream. I recently added this product to my Herbal Face Food line up and so far I am really liking it.
I have been using The Serum I and The Cure for some time now in addition to the Cure X Soap a few days a week. I have always been one to bounce from skincare product to skincare product. I just can’t help but try new products. However, Herbal Face Food has changed that for me. I noticed changes to my skin in the first week of use (so many people have this experience) and it has only continued to get better.
I turned 44 this past August and I personally think my skin looks better now than it did when I was younger. I am all about aging gracefully and Herbal Face Food products can help you do just that. I have always struggled with dry skin and there are minimal days where I wake up or end the day with parched skin. My skin looks dewy and consistently clear since using these products.
For the past year the one product I was using in addition to Herbal Face Food serums was a moisturizer. I rotated between a few (skincare addict here) depending on the season so I can’t tell you how happy I am that there is now a cream in the Herbal Face Food product line!
The Cream is a transformational moisturizer. It is the most potent moisturizer ever tested on the SHMI (Skin Hydration Measurement Instrument).
Like all of the Herbal Face Food Products The Cream is packed with the world’s most powerful Anti-Aging botanicals. The cream contains 102 (including the top 20) rarest, most expensive plant concentrates on the planet.
And, what I think is the most amazing about The Cream is it is the world’s first and only edible SPF (I don’t recommend eating it but you could) with a protection rating of 50+ accomplished by 100% by plant power. This means that when you use The Cream as part of your skincare routine you can skip the chemical or white tinted sunscreen you are currently using in your routine. One less product you have to purchase and use on top of everything else!
I have shared it in my other reviews but one of the things I love most about Herbal Face Food is the simplicity of the products. There is no confusion! There are not 100 different products geared towards a ton of different skin concerns that you have to decipher between. You can simply use all 4 products in the line or incorporate as many as you like and Herbal Face Food will work for all skin concerns. Now that Herbal Face Food created a cream my routine got even simpler!
The Cream supplies constant, sustained hydration. After the first use I could tell a difference and at the end of the day my skin still looked plump and smooth. The Cream deploys potent anti-aging, self-healing plant science technology and repairs and strengthens the skin barrier. Keeping the skin barrier in tip top shop is very important if you are looking to achieve healthy glowing skin. The market is flooded with skin barrier products but with The Cream you are getting this benefit too. Again without the extra product.
The Cream makes your skin instantly soft, supple and youthful-looking. Overtime your skin will feel firmer, lines and wrinkles will visibly diminish, and dryness, dullness, and damage will disappear.

HOW TO USE ALL HERBAL FACE FOOD PRODUCTS AS A SYSTEM
- Cleanse your face with The Cure X Soap and then pat dry.
- Apply The Serum I (if you are new to Herbal Face Food start with Serum I and work your way up to Serum II and SerumIII) to dry skin. You can apply it to wet skin but wet skin will enhance the heating sensation you experience with the serums.
- Press The Serum deep into the face and allow to fully absorb.
- Apply The Cure to any specific areas of concern. This could be hyperpigmentation, blemishes, or deep lines.
- Apply another other products you use in your skincare routine, such as face oils, face mists ect.
- Finally you will apply The Cream to finish of your routine with dose of hydrating moisture.
MY PERSONAL ROUTINE + HOW I USE HERBAL FACE FOOD
MORNING: My morning routine is pretty consistent but does include things like gua sha, kansa wand, under eye hydro gels, a face mask or scrub. It just depends on if and what I think my skin may need.
- I first cleanse my skin. I typically use The Cure X Soap in the morning. If I plan on doing one of the additional treatments mentioned above I will complete that routine. If I do a treatment that requires oil for slip I will wash my face again to prep it for the Herbal Face Food products I use. I have found though that The Cream really has a enough slip to use with a Gua Sha tool so if I am doing a quick treatment I skip the oil all together.
- After cleansing I apply the Serum I. I may apply The Cure or mix a small amount in the Serum I but it just depends if I have any areas of concern. I really press the serum into my skin. Sometimes I use a roller to really get the serum to absorb especially if I don’t have time to allow it to absorb naturally. Herbal Face Food serums don’t have a greasy feel and I feel they absorb pretty quickly.
- The last step in my routine is applying The Cream. You don’t need much! A little goes a long way. I like to warm a small amount in-between my finger before speading it and pressing it onto my face. If I have time to wait I apply my foundation right over The Cream. If I am in a hurry I will sometimes use a primer before applying my foundation. The Cream makes a great primer but I do feel you need to give it a bit of time to fully absorb. This has been my personal experience.
NIGHT: My nighttime routine is pretty consistent as well. Just like in the morning I may include something additional. Typically if I am going to do scrub or mask I like to do that at night. Exfoliation help Herbal Face Food products absorb into the skin better so I like to exfoliate at least once per week.
- Before cleansing I remove my makeup with oil. I don’t use a fancy makeup remover and find that almond, avocado, or really any natural oil works better and is not as harsh on my skin. If you have not tried a natural oil to remove your eye makeup and facial makeup give it a try. You will never use a cleansing balm or makeup remover again.
- I tissue off all oil and then cleanse with with the The Cure X Soap or another non-toxic cleanser.
- I then pat my face dry and press The Serum I into my face and neck. Sometimes I mix a drop or two of The Cure into The Serum I or I use a small amount on areas of concern.
- Now that I have The Cream in my life this has been my last step.
- I have this tool that I love and use on some nights. I have to admit I am not consistent with it but love how it pushes the products even deeper into my skin.
WHAT MAKES HERBAL FACE FOOD PRODUCTS DIFFERENT
The Ingredients do! There is no other product like Herbal Face Food on the market. Herbal Face Food serums are 100% PLANT (not plant-based). Meaning they contain only plants and nothing else. No synthetic or man-made ingredients and are also safe to eat! I’m not saying to eat it but you could if you wanted to. These serums go beyond clean and non-toxic skincare. There is nothing like Herbal Face Food on the market. “Plants are the original Scientists. Plants are the ancient Estheticians.” – J. Michael Zenn

READY TO TRY HERBAL FACE FOOD
If you are interested in trying Herbal Face Food you can use CODE: WholeLovelyLife to SAVE 30% off your first order! My suggestion is to start with The Serum I and The Cream. If you have deep pigmentation, deep wrinkles or troubled skin adding The Cure would be a good move. The Cure will last for a long time since it’s just a spot treatment. I love the Cure X Soap as well but good quality skincare is an investment and sometimes we can’t buy everything at once. My two top to picks would be The Serum I and The Cream.
Note: This code never expires. You can use it whenever you discover this post!
